only connect! under the direction of actress/director Julie Stearns, are a ruthless band of outlaws and misfits who regularly meet to create theatrical perversions suitable enough for public viewing, often poignant and which require a certain unexpectedly eye-raising high level of discipline and concentration.

The plays we produce are always provocative, witty, and full of the unexpected! Our casts include primarily students of the University of Duisburg-Essen, however also enjoy many collaborations with students from other universities, as well as professional and amateur performers and musicians, random people who wander in “accidentally” off the streets and sometimes the occasional wild animal (live or taxidermic).
